The biggest news of the weekend was that Judith was able to get all dolled up and visit our synagogue for over an hour on Saturday. All went well. She loved the new site that Ohr HaTorah recently purchased, and was lovingly greeted by many dear friends.
The lows were connected, as always, to her persisting problems with the (famous) wound. Even with the specialized nurse in attendance, Judith is experiencing a lot of sporatic intense pain, and her doctors have promised me that they will look for new pain management regimens tomorrow. So now the biggest difference from being in the hospital is pain management. And of course with the pain comes a feeling of frustration and depression (for both of us).
Also, Judith's abdomen is filling up with fluid again (which we were told to expect) and she will have to return to the hospital soon, and from time to time, to get it drained.
