Every good therapist has a therapist, and Judith is no exception. Earlier I forgot to mention that her (supervising) therapist and confidant of the past 21 years came to our home today to talk with Judith about the current issues facing her. I didn't listen in, but heard a lot of tears, so it MUST have been pretty good.
And to put a capper on a mostly bad day, we had to call the nurse for a THIRD visit pretty late in the night. What an angel -- this is way past her original commitment to us! She committed to once or twice a week. But she just can't bear to see Judith suffer (and feels guilty that she hasn't solved the problem of the wound).
Man, do I hope tomorrow is better. . .
