The chemotherapy seemed to really take a toll on Judith, who spent a lot of today sad and tearful. The wound nurse had to make two visits, one pretty late at night, G-d bless her.
Craig and Sherwyn from our synagogue came over and had dinner with Judith, our son Greg and me, and all that company cheered Judith up a bit. Other visitors during each day help a lot as well.
But she is sad.
The big hope is that Judith can venture forth for an hour or two tomorrow to visit the new synagogue building that she has never seen. Yolanda Strom bought a number of new dresses for her to wear and sent them over with Craig today. What a friend! If we actually make it there tomorrow morning, we all worry that Judith will be swamped with well wishers, but we're gearing up to deal with that. If we can't do it tomorrow, there's always next week. And with Jessica and Greg to help, it's gonna happen. (I got the "gonna" word from Sarah Pallin).
