For those of you that couldn't open yesterday' blog (I've received complaints) I am repeating it below.
NOTHING MUCH TO REPORT
We are waiting to meet with the representative of the hospice, who has been talking to our doctors and other healthcare professionals, and who will be outlining our options at this point in time. He was supposed to meet with us Friday, but had a bad cold and hopes to meet with us Monday.
We look forward to the meeting as one in which we will understand the current situation, and what the choices are. At the same time we dread the meeting for the same reasons.
But the weekend was mostly pleasant. My brother Malcolm and his wife Elizabeth came in from Ithaca, NY for a few days. They arrived when the "Shabbat Visit" from our synagogue members was in full swing, and they were able to see for themselves the dedication and warmth of this remarkable group.
But for now (once again) we are just waiting for "the news".
