Judith holds the traditional 5 wick candle that is lit for the Havdala service. At the conclusion of the service, which seperates the end of the sabbath from the new week, this candle is extinguished in a cup of wine.Oh, yes. Sucking blood.

The hospice is recommending that Judith receive some blood transfusions to boost her (very low) energy level.
We're waiting to hear from UCLA hospital as to when that can happen.
