A time to die.
Judith decided some time ago that:
- we would all discuss life and death issues openly
- that we would all follow Judith's wishes as to her treatment
- that she would let us know when her quality of life was too impaired by her pain
- and finally that she would tell us when she wanted to stop her active treatment and achieve a painless, peaceful and dignified passing
JUDITH TELLS US THAT SHE HAS SAID ALL SHE WANTS TO SAY, SEEN ALL THE VISITORS THAT SHE CAN HANDLE, WRITTEN ALL SHE CARES TO WRITE
HUGGED HER LAST HUG
TASTED HER LAST TASTE
SEEN HER LAST MOVIE
KISSED HER LAST KISS.
She wants to be sedated and prepare to greet her father on the other side.
We, her family, are full of sorrow, terror, relief for her, and respect for her brave decisions.

If the moment presents itself, please tell Judith that I love her, I will miss her, and that I wish her peace.

Please know that Sherwin and I are thinking about you and Judith, as well as the rest of the family. You are in our prayers, hearts, and, needless to say, constant thoughts.
Also know that we have grown to have deep love and affection for all of you.
We want to thank you and Judith for allowing us to be a part of Judith's journey over the past year. In addition to knowing that we have been able to provide you both with much love and support, we also know, and want you and Judith to know, that we have grown as human beings because of the journey we've taken with you. Our lives have been enriched beyond words, and simply will never be the same. We are eternally gratful and thank you both for that!!
Wes, please know that we will continue to be there for you and the family for as long as you need us. Don't hesitate to call and ask us for anything. We are here for you!!
