Sorry that I haven't posted for a few days. Unfortunately things have not been going well at home, finally resulting in Judith returning to the UCLA Emergency Room yesterday for readmission to the hospital. (In addition, my computer connection at home was down). Her problems with the wound site continue to be the trouble, but the team at UCLA still believes that they can make it heal. They say that it still looks better than it did two weeks ago.
At this moment (Thursday late morning) Judith is STILL in the ER waiting for a bed to open up in the hospital. When it does, she should be able to get her chemotherapy there on time.
During all of this trauma, the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, came and went, and Canter Frenkel from Kehillat Israel came to Judith's bedside at home, chanted a medaly of the prayers from the service and blew the shofar for Judith, followed by lovely prayers for her healing.
That's all for now.

Judith, Wes and Mom,
I pray and think of you all constantly. I think of you at home, at work, driving...even at Loehmann's! I've made so many bargains with G-d to help our dear Judith, that it's time for Him to make good. Love, Janie
