on a wing and a PRAYER

Judith was discharged (again) from UCLA hospital. The special wound care nurses have got the famous wound (kinda) stable, and hope that we can now handle it at home with visiting home care nurses.

Judith is very weak from the chemotherapy and from spending so many weeks lying in bed, but she's happy (and somewhat fearful) to be home.

So now we go back on the home routine: wound care specialized supplies and treatment, preparation of her intravenous nutrition to be prepared and hooked up for 12 hours each night, etc.

Prayers flow in from everyone. We all hope that the chemotherapy, which has so many nasty side effects, will one day open her bowels, allow her to once again eat and drink, and solve the major problems that have been Judith's curse for lo these many months.

If I had a penny for all the prayers I've said, chanted or even screamed for dearest Judith, as I know all the other important folks in her life have said, I'd be a million times richer than Warren Buffet. And so, when someone reads my "comment", please say another prayer or two for Judith...and in unison our POWER OF PRAYER will be heard.
