NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED

• JUDITH'S PAIN IS PRETTY MUCH UNDER CONTROL RIGHT NOW
  

• THE WOUND IS ALSO UNDER CONTROL

• BUT THE EFFECTS OF THE CANCER SEEM TO BE GETTING WORSE

• THE EDEMA HAS JUDITH UNCOMFORTABLE, MISERABLE, HARDLY ABLE TO MOVE, BEDRIDDEN AND DESPONDENT. Even though she had another "tap" yesterday at UCLA (removed about 5 pounds of fluid) she gains 2 - 3 pounds a day, and no one can seem to get a handle on it.

The only bright spot for the last few days was a 3 day visit from Judith's college roommate and good friend Judy Robb, who flew in from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Many tears were shed when she left (mine included).
