Judith has started on a couple of powerful antibiotics while we wait for blood cultures to be analyzed in a day or two, which may show the nature of the infection. This has resulted in a staggering and somewhat confusing schedule of injections and IV solutions for me to administer every day. Greg thinks I need a REAL nurse to do all this right now, but for the moment (with Stan-the-pharmacist's help), I feel I've got it covered. NOTE: Stan worked into the night last night compounding and getting the antibiotics to us. And he told me today that he slept with his cell phone under his pillow last night in case I called for help!!! AND - he told me that if I get in a bind this weekend he would come over to our house and help me!!! How's THAT for a salaried state employee!!!
Judith is very weak. We soldier on. We're looking forward to seeing her brother tomorrow.
